Özet
Im?m Al-Nawawi is considered to be amongst the most important shafi’i scholars. Till this day, his books are considered treasures of the Islamic world and are taught in shafi’i schools and memorized. In Addition, Imam al-Nawawi is the pillar of shafi’i madhhab among the late scholars, so what he states and deems weightier in the madhhab is relied upon, not anything else. Especially his work called al-Minhaj is very important. Minhaj of Imam al-Nawawi been made the reference point for fatwa and reliable positions in our madhhab. It is a practical manual for judges of the Shafi’i legal tradition. It offers principles and precedents, with few of the linguistic and other digressions often found in legal writing. In addition, it is a concise summary that comprises most investigations, questions, and essential rulings in a language that is succinct, easy and accurate; excellently arranged and extremely refined; and it points out the differences of opinions in the madhhab without unnecessary elaboration. The topic of menstruation and mosques one of the controversial issues. Often it is deemed impermissible for menstruating women to enter the mosque which is taken from some hadith. In this paper we will look at shafi’i fıqh of menstruating women and entering mosque in the light of Minhaj of al-Nawawi.
