The situation of refugees in Turkey is distinctive in many ways including the country’s approach to an inclusive education is policy with the goal of integrating refugee school children, socially and economically. This paper utilizes qualitative case study methodology to investigate the role of an inclusive approach to educational programs within four schools in Istanbul. Data was collected through interviews conducted with 64 participants who included teachers, school leaders, parents and students, then analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results of this study emphasize the vital role of an inclusive educational approach and its role in school stability, refugee belonging and community healing.
