[Book Review]: "Psikoterapi ve Ötesi Çağdaş Psikoterapi Eleştirisi"

Abstract

Bu çalışma Taha Burak Toprak tarafından kaleme alınan Psikoterapi ve Ötesi Çağdaş Psikoterapi Eleştirisi kitabının bir incelemesini içermektedir. Psikoterapi alanında ihtiyaç duyulan İslâmî kavram ve ilke entegrasyonuna dikkat çeken eserin bu uyarlamadaki önerilerine değinilmektedir. Psikoterapinin insanı mağdur koyma durumu ele alınarak İslâmi kavram ve insan anlayışının psikoterapiye aktarımında rehberliği değerlendirilmektedir. İslâmî gelenekten beslenen bir psikoterapi modeli sunan eserin önerdiği model, eksiklikleri ve literatürdeki yeri de ele alınmaktadır.

This study examines Taha Burak Toprak's book, "Psychotherapy and Beyond: A Critique of Contemporary Psychotherapy." The work highlights the need for the integration of Islamic concepts and principles in psychotherapy, and its recommendations for this adaptation are discussed. The victimization of psychotherapy is addressed, and its role in guiding the transfer of Islamic concepts and understanding of humanity to psychotherapy is evaluated. The work, which presents a psychotherapy model informed by Islamic tradition, also examines its proposed model, its shortcomings, and its place in the literature.
