Özet
Pandemiyle birlikte Yeni Normal düzenine girdiğimiz bugünlerde yalnızca sosyal hayat değil ekonomik anlayışlar ve siyasi sistemler de değişecektir. Yeni dönemin gerektirdiği yönlerde değişim gerçekleşmezse ülkelerin büyük ekonomik ve sosyal çalkantılarla karşılaşması olasıdır. Bireyin piyasaya karşı korunduğu anayasalar düzenlenirken ayrıca bireyin hakları, özgürlükleri ve mahremiyeti de koruma altına alınmalıdır. Zira bireyler devlet tarafından, pandemi sebebiyle bile olsa bugüne kadar hiç görülmeyen bir boyutta izlenmektedir. Bu durumun devamı ve devletlerin bireysel kaygıları istismar ederek sağlığı bahane etmesi ise bildiğimiz özgürlükçü ve açık dünyanın sonu anlamında gelecektir. Küreselleşme hareketi de bu süreçten etkilenmektedir, küreselleşme sona ermemiş olsa bile artık bu akım genel geçer bir kabul görmemektedir. Bunun başlıca sebebi ise küreselleşmenin devlet müdahalesine soğuk bakması, mümkün olduğunca az düzenleme ile küresel sermayenin hareket etmesini hedeflemesi ancak günümüz koşullarında bireylerin ekonomik krizden korunabilmesi için bunların aksi yönünde gelişmelere ihtiyaç duymasıdır.
After the Covid-19 outbreak, we are entering a New Normal. Not only social life will change, but also economic and political systems. States will face economic and social upheavals unless they implement changes required by the New Normal. In this context, new constitutions will be established. These constitutions should protect individuals, not only against free market but also against state itself as nowadays, fundamental rights and freedoms, along with privacy of people are under a threat. In case states persist to exploit personal concerns of health and continue to survey people as closely as today, then the free World that we know today will cease to exist. Globalisation, along with others, is also affected by the New Normal. Even though globalisation has not ended, this process isn’t welcomed as warmly as before. Main reason behind this is that globalisation, as an understanding, is promoting uninterrupted global trade and transactions but cool towards state interventions and regulations of economy. On contrary, people in New Normal require state interventions and a more regulated market in order to survive pandemics and economic crisis arising out of it.
