This research aimed to examine the school burnout and educational stress seen in high school students during the Covid-19 period in terms of parental attitudes. In line with this main purpose, the effects of the independent variable parent attitudes on the dependent variables school burnout and educational stress were examined and it was tested whether the variables differed significantly in terms of demographic variables. Relational screening method and Structural Equation Model were used in the study, and confirmatory factor analyzes were conducted to check the structural validity of the Parenting Attitude Scale, Educational Stress Scale and School Burnout Scale used to obtain the data. As a result of the analyses, it was determined that the scales were at a 'high reliability' level and their validity was ensured. Normality analysis of the scales was carried out by calculating the skewness and kurtosis coefficients, and it was understood that the obtained dimension averages conformed to normal distribution in all dimensions according to demographic characteristics. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that mother and father attitudes had positive and significant effects on the level of school burnout and educational stress, and that mother and father attitudes predicted educational stress by 16% and school burnout by 6%. It has been determined that the democratic attitude dimension, one of the sub-dimensions of mother and father attitude, does not affect the educational stress variable and school burnout variable, while the protective / demanding parental attitude does not affect the school burnout variable. The effect of Protective/Demanding parental attitude on the Educational Stress scale score is positive and significant, predicting educational stress by 15.6%, and the effect of authoritarian parental attitude on Educational Stress is positive and significant, predicting educational stress by 14.5%; It was determined that the effect of authoritarian parental attitude on the school burnout variable was positive and significant and predicted school burnout by 18.4 percent, and the data; The results are presented taking into account recommendations, literature and previous studies.
