This work attempts to reveal the eleventh century- pillars of responsible management introduced by Q?bus-n?ma. Initially, a qualitative content analysis of the book manifests sustainable, responsible and ethical principles on leadership, human resource management and communication. Secondly, derived principles will be re-structured in order to develop a comprehensive responsible management framework. While contemporary research largely overlooks the managerial experience gained by previous generations, pre-capitalist ages with a very different set of values than today’s could provide us with inestimable implementation alternatives. Findings enhance our understanding of responsible management and thus provides rich opportunities for future research.
