Addictive behaviors such as internet addiction can have significant negative effects on having a healthy life lifestyle, including healthy diet patterns. This study aimed to investigate the association between internet addiction and problematic eating behaviors among university students. Using cross-sectional survey method as the research design, data of the present study were collected in Sultan Idris Education University Malaysia, from a total of 91students (33 male & 58 female) through convenience sampling method. The Internet Addiction Test(IAT) and Eating Attitude Test-26 are utilized to study the association between internet addiction and problematic eating behaviors. According to the results of the present study while the majority of the students (53.8 %) fall into normal user category, 40.7 % of the students showed slight internet addiction. There was no significant difference between male and female students in terms of internet addiction. The findings also indicated that higher internet addiction was significantly correlated with problematic eating behaviors.
