Universities are becoming more multicultural because of student mobility and migration. As a result of this; religion, particularly Islam, in Muslim and non-Muslim contexts has become a remarkable research topic. In order to make the campus environment more inclusive, it is important to develop policies by considering the experiences of all stakeholders; including students from various backgrounds, administrators, and academicians. To examine these experiences, we have designed a comprehensive and multi-layered study. In this current work, we propose to share the piece of research findings that focus on the perspectives of academicians and research assistants on academic and socio-cultural experiences of Muslim covered women students in campus. Findings support the literature that the experiences in universities has an impact on adult identity formation and social practices of students in society. Therefore, it is crucial that university campuses create mechanisms where stakeholders can interact with one another to appreciate the differences and enjoy opportunities universities offer them. From this perspective, the results may not only be helpful for universities in Turkey, but also for campuses around the world to create diverse international campus environments that are more inclusive.
